A lot of people are unhappy with the pictures on their Aadhaar cards, frequently because of bad lighting or facial expressions. Thankfully, it is not as difficult as it might seem to change your photo.

The majority of us are not happy with the picture on our Aadhaar card, let us face it. You have undoubtedly felt embarrassed at least once when presenting your ID, whether it was due to an odd expression, poor lighting, or simply an old photo. The good news? You can alter it! Yes, upgrading the photo is simpler than most people realize, despite the fact that the Aadhaar card is a government document that is needed for everything from passports and banks to school admissions and employment verification. Although it is not currently possible to completely alter your Aadhaar photo online, the procedure is rather easy and will not take much of your time.

Here’s How to Go About It:

Check out the UIDAI website: Download the Aadhaar Enrollment/Correction Form at uidai.gov.in.

Complete the form: After entering your accurate information, print the completed form.

Visit The Aadhaar Sewa Kendra: Fill out the application at the Aadhaar Enrollment Center that is closest to you.

Biometric Verification: An executive will use biometrics to confirm your identity.

Get a New Photo Taken: A brand-new picture will be taken right there.

Pay the Fee: The upgrade will cost you Rs 100 (plus GST).

Gather the Slip: An acknowledgment slip bearing your URN (Update Request Number) will be sent to you.

Using the URN, you may monitor the status of your photo update on the UIDAI website. You can download your updated e-Aadhaar or obtain a reprint once the upgrade is complete, which could take up to 90 days.
